This lagoon is the one we will find first (in the Sonquillpampa area), after a moderate walk of approximately 3 hours. It is advisable to get to this lagoon first and evaluate how the body is doing, if there is still good energy, continue towards lagoon 513.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Of an impressive turquoise, the \u201cLaguna 513\u201d is located majestically at the base of the snowy Hualcan mountain (6125 masl) in the Cordillera Blanca, Ancash region, Peru.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 513 is a glacial lagoon that is located at 4431 meters above sea level. It is known by 513 or 513a, since it feeds on Glacier No. 513 according to the National Glacier inventory.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The lagoons in this area are legendary, loaded with myths and legends and considered by the local people to be enchanted lagoons.<\/span> \u00a0 <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to get there<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After leaving Monta\u00f1a Jazz you can reach the city of Carhuaz. To get to the lagoon 513 you\u00b4ll have to get to a place known as Sonquillpampa or Pampa Shonquil first.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is from this point that the walk begins. Starting from Sonquillpampa, you travel about 5 km until you reach the Rajupaquinan lagoon. Then, continuing with the journey, the trek continues for about 2km to reach lagoon 513.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The trek varies in altitude from 2,800 \/ 4,472 meters above sea level, making it a medium requirement.
